Job Description
As a Quality Control Technician, you'll be responsible for inspecting and ensuring that our lumber meets the highest quality criteria before it goes to our customers. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Friday 6:00am-6:00pm.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a sawmill or wood products industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in quality control is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects and quality issues
  • Understanding of wood products, grading standards, and quality control processes
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
