Job Description
The Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP) is recruiting for a Qualified Craft Worker (Plumbing & Steamfitting) (40 Hour) position. This position will be responsible for completing preventive maintenance, repairs and installations of plumbing and steam fitting systems, parts and fixtures at DESPP Troops and Buildings statewide.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of experience in tasks in the plumbing and steamfitting trade.
  • Two (2) years of the General Experience must have been performing skilled plumbing and steamfitting trades.
  • Graduation from a vocational or technical school with a diploma designating completion of subject requirements in a maintenance trade area may be substituted for two (2) years of the General Experience.
