Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Coordinator ensures quality processes are well-documented, compliant with regulations, and effectively communicated within the organization. This role contributes to maintaining a high standard of quality in products or services through meticulous documentation management.

Responsibilities include overseeing quality assurance documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, participating in internal and external audits, and collaborating with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent courses and work experience in Food Science
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance documentation role, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of document control principles and practices
  • Familiarity with quality auditing processes
  • PCQI, HACCP and/or SQF certification
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and Windows environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating professionally and effectively
  • Ability to receive communication from others and handle
  • Ability to work as an integral part of the team
