Role OverviewThe MECM Senior Security Analyst supports the Department of Health (DOH) Division of Operations and Systems (DOS) in security quality assurance activities for the Medicaid Eligibility and Client Management (MECM) system. This role reviews system and application security documentation, security controls, vulnerability testing results, audit materials, contractor responses, and related project artifacts for alignment with contractual, regulatory, privacy, and security requirements.
What You Will Do
Review contractor-submitted MECM security documentation, system security materials, application security artifacts, audit materials, and related project documentation for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with applicable requirements. Assess contractor compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, legislative, contractual, and audit requirements.

Requirements
- Eight (8) + years of experience in a security role within the information technology industry.
- Five (5) + years of experience in information security, including reviewing and assessing system and application security.
- Two (2) + years of experience working with cloud-based systems and assessing related security implications.
- Two (2) + years of experience with security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- One or more relevant security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals, Microsoft security certification, Associate of ISC2, CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
