Job Description
The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the development and implementation of performance measurement and auditing tools to proactively identify trends and gaps in the quality of care provided to children temporarily residing at the Children’s Center.

Requirements

  • Assist in the development of performance measurement assessment tools
  • Conduct routine internal audits of the various departments within the Children’s Center
  • Support the implementation of the youth behavioral incentive program
  • Collect data and report production at weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals
  • Work effectively with a team to deliver quality assurance services
  • Audit internal logs, critical incidents, employee performance, etc.
  • Produce written findings and recommendations for system improvement
  • Maintain performance logs for all program areas
  • Participate in quarterly (or as needed) performance meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the unit and Division at critical agency wide performance meetings
  • Work on other strategic initiatives as delegated by the Director of Quality Assurance and the Associate Commissioner
  • Assist in the quarterly site reviews of pre-placement provider agencies
