Role OverviewThe Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Assurance with development and implementation of Quality Assurance plans, procedures and programs in compliance with Los Alamos National Laboratory and Department of Energy requirements. The Specialist will facilitate and assist in the Quality Assurance Program and Process Improvement Programs.
What You Will Do
Responsible for development, implementation, and supervision of QA programs to ensure compliance with DOE, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and N2MIS directives. Conduct QA assessments of policies, procedures and processes of operations, recommend policy and procedural improvements and develop corrective action plans.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Currently have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a Department of Energy (DOE) Q level security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid NM driver’s license

- Strong verbal and written skills and proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite programs
