Role Overview

This is a quality audit position, which audits processes, fabricated and/or purchased parts against applicable drawings, bills of material, engineering documents, inspection procedures, etc. and conducts process audits as required. The position requires a high school education or equivalent and understanding of how to conduct process audits. The role involves assisting the production department in quality improvement teams, detecting issues in supply depts, and performing certified leak tests and certificate of conformance.

What You Will Do

Audits processes, fabricated and/or purchased parts against applicable drawings, bills of material, engineering documents, inspection procedures, etc. Conducts process audits as required. Assists the production department in quality improvement teams. Assists production by detecting issues in supply depts prior to the entire coil being built and being sent to final inspection.

Must be able to coordinate with production supervision. Must be “team oriented”. Performs certified leak tests and certificate of conformance. Basic office computer skills are required.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Understanding of how to conduct process audits
  • 12 to 18 months are required to achieve the job knowledge of all operations and documents pertaining to the specific job
  • Detect visual discrepancies
  • Detect discrepancies in various Engineering Documents, such as Engineering Deviations, Standards, etc.
  • Must be able to coordinate with production supervision
  • Must be “team oriented”
  • Basic office computer skills (such as Excel, Word, SAP, etc)
