Role OverviewThe Quality Control Inspector I will inspect component parts and completed product for conformance to process controls using visual inspection and various measuring tools of basic complexity. The role involves performing final inspection tasks, training production personnel, and participating in customer inspections.
What You Will Do
The Quality Control Inspector I will inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation, document actions by completing production and quality forms, and participate in the prototype review process for all newly developed products as needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has 1-3 years prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, can read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring and ladder diagrams, and has basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring and ladder diagrams
- Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel
- Experience using an ERP system is desirable
- Ability to utilize measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, 'Fluke' multimeter
- Experience using small hand and power tools
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
