Role OverviewInspect component parts and completed product for conformance to process controls using visual inspection and various measuring tools of basic complexity. Perform final inspection tasks on all switches and part orders being shipped. Train production personnel in effective methods to control processes.
What You Will Do
Perform internal process audits as required, report all findings. Communicate drawing discrepancies to Engineering. Participate in customer inspections as needed. Assist team members in preparing and entering NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

Must be able to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring and ladder diagrams. Has the ability to utilize measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, “Fluke” multimeter. Has experience using small hand and power tools.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring and ladder diagrams
- Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel
- Experience using an ERP system is desirable
- Ability to utilize measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, “Fluke” multimeter
- Experience using small hand and power tools
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Ideally 1-3 years prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
