Role OverviewThe Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) serves as a key operational and technical partner within AWS Data Center Engineering (DCE), supporting the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center design and construction projects. This role is focused on engineering design quality, construction coordination, project lifecycle governance, and operational process management associated with the development of new AWS data center infrastructure.
What You Will Do
Lead quality assurance reviews for multidisciplinary engineering design deliverables across all major project phases, review engineering drawings, narratives, specifications, and supporting construction documentation for completeness, quality, coordination, and compliance with AWS standards and project requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning specific education courses
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers
