Role OverviewWe are looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure our products meet internal and external compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be eager to tackle large complex projects with interesting problems in a fast-paced team environment.
What You Will Do
Develops, promotes, and executes quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports. Creates advancements in current quality engineering practices and coordinates day-to-day activities of quality engineering and inspector staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, including experience in composite fabrication with practical application of quality assurance. Commercial/military aerospace experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a bachelor's degree in English or history
- 3-5 years manufacturing experience, including experience in composite fabrication with practical application of quality assurance
- Commercial/military aerospace experience is preferred
- Must have demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Must have strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
