Job Description
Quality Engineer plays an integral role in overall quality management/kaizen activities for responsible product groups. Responsible for customer liaison, supplier quality management, and inline product/process quality.
Requirements
Automotive Industry Background Preferred
Advance Product Quality Planning (AIAG standards)
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Geometric dimensioning and tolerance
Problem solving utilizing 5-why analysis and 8D problem reporting
Statistics, Design of Experiment (DOE), Correlation studies, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing tools
IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 knowledge
Good understanding of manufacturing systems
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and complete on time
Knowledge of manufacturing systems
Proficient in computer programs such as Minitab, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
