Job Description
The Quality Improvement Analyst III will serve as an advanced-level analyst supporting the development and administration of a health system-wide quality and operational analytics. Works under minimal supervision to produce expert-level analysis, analytics, reports, dashboards, and other resources in support of Health System Quality & Operational Excellence Department's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Design, develop, and automate clinical quality and performance metrics.
  • Serve as a content expert for clinical quality measures.
  • Implements analytic approaches and technical methodology under supervision; executes work plan tasks as assigned.
  • Uses judgement to distinguish relevant from irrelevant information.
  • Uses factual data to produce and deliver credible and understandable reports.
  • Participate on multi-disciplinary teams and provide comprehensive analytical support for clinical performance improvement initiatives.
  • Extract, validate and summarize data from different large databases using data management and querying skills.
  • Analyze and organize data using appropriate analytical and statistical methods to efficiently track clinical processes and outcomes.
  • Assist in the interpretation of data to identify opportunities for improved healthcare delivery.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • May provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
