Job Description
Quality Inspector 1 role at Pratt & Whitney, inspecting blades and vanes, performing over-inspects for operators, and working to obtain an inspection stamp. Requirements

  • Work from applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, and other pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gages, and other equipment.
  • Accept material or referring for rework or quality review based on findings.
  • Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results, and perform necessary problem solving to determine extent of nonconformance and complete documentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with customer/Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/Joint Aviation Administration (JAA) technical data as applicable.
  • Train other operators to perform work tasks and provide technical support to the Operations team.
