Role Overview

The Quality Inspector I performs visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections on strip or loose-piece terminals and connectors to ensure products meet all blueprint, specification, and quality requirements. This role utilizes microscopes, gages, comparators, semi-automated inspection systems, and other precision measurement tools to verify conformance and support production quality. The Quality Inspector I works on a night shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is eligible for a 10% shift differential.

What You Will Do

The Quality Inspector I will perform visual and microscopic inspections of reeled and loose-piece contacts to identify visual defects, conduct mechanical inspections on reeled or loose-piece terminals, and verify critical dimensional features. The Quality Inspector I will also perform first-piece inspections, use automated measurement systems, and maintain detailed daily inspection records.
