Role OverviewThe Quality Inspector II is responsible for ensuring quality product and batch records from the manufacturing departments. They evaluate quality issues with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance, and follow standard operation procedures to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
What You Will Do
Key activities include monitoring and conducting in-process inspections, identifying suspect material, checking batch documents, performing AQL sampling, and interacting with other departments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/FDA regulated facility, excellent time management skills, and attention to detail. They will also be able to work independently with little supervision and escalate/solve shop floor issues per procedures.
Requirements
- Associates degree preferred, High School Diploma Required
- Quality Control/Assurance experience preferred
- Ability to work well with people and independently
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical/FDA regulated facility or related field experience
