Quality Inspector III

Cadrex is searching for a Quality Inspector III to directly support site manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts, principles, and methodologies with the goal of consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations of quality.

What You Will Do

Use measuring devices, read and interpret blueprints, inspect and test products, document inspection results, identify and quarantine non-conforming products, and generate reports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience working in a metal fabrication environment under a continuous improvement QMS, with hands-on inspection experience preferred.

Requirements

• Understand industry safety standards and quality expectations
• 5 or more years working in a metal fabrication environment under a continuous improvement QMS with hands on inspection preferred
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs
• Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and the use of the internet
