Quality Inspector

Requirements

• Inspect molded parts for cycle time, physical defects and critical measurements
• Perform functional leak, fit, etc., tests
• Verify product complies with established quality standards
• Release molds that comply with quality specifications
• Reject defective material, and marks type of defect on inspection tag
• Inspect all labels for proper information and identification
• Inspect assembled parts and packaged units, verifies product complies with established quality standards
• Verify the integrity of assembly – pull test, proper fitting – on assembled parts and the right combination of components
• Inspect packaging to ensure packaging material used, printed information, process and production record is appropriate for the application
• Implement corrective actions
• Document all decisions made, releases, incidences, re-work, and submit to Quality Control Department
• Keeps immediate work area in a clean, orderly condition, wears required safety equipment, and observes all safety rules
