Role OverviewThe Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting audits/inspections on inbound Customer deliveries as well as all other internal operational roles within the warehouse. The intent of the role is to identify gaps in compliance to our standards in an effort to promote maximum warehouse efficiencies and an elimination of inbound defects from our Customers.
What You Will Do
Performs inspection on all inbound deliveries to ensure they are in compliance with RJW standards, maintains a standard of personal accuracy, and accurately inputs data to ensure inventory integrity.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to communicate, read, write, and speak English, minimum 1-3 months related experience in a warehouse environment, and experience using WMS software a plus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and write emails
- Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets
- Forklift certification a plus
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
