Job Description
Inspect light tight enclosures to ensure containment of radiation, verify interlocks and warning systems, and maintain inspection records. Maintain a technical or scientific background and formal training in laser safety principles. Completion of ANSI Z136.1 laser safety training is required.

  • Laser Safety Officer under ANSI Z136.1 standards
  • Technical or scientific background
  • Formal training in laser safety principles, hazard evaluation, and control measures
  • Completion of ANSI Z136.1 laser safety training
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements and institutional policies
