Job Description

Requirements
Lead, Train and mentor lab and quality personnel in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) practices, testing protocols, and continuous improvement tools.
Lead the Quality Control Laboratory, overseeing analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods in accordance with industry regulations and internal standards.
Oversee compliance with relevant chemical industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA); ensure readiness for internal and external audits, apply advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor, analyze, and improve production processes.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints using root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Oversee Chesterfield Quality Systems, leading team to maintain and improve Quality Manual and System Level Procedures.
Coordinate and lead external audits required to meet Food Grade, UL, KOSHER, HALA and other certifications.
Responsible for product Certificate of Analysis, maintaining Product Specification database within Lab Management Program and SAP.
Partner with the Nylon Commercial Team to facilitate Customer Surveys, Audits, and inquiries.
Collaborate with Production, R&D, and EHS teams to support quality initiatives and process optimization.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, control plans, and data reporting systems.
Evaluate vendor quality performance and support raw material qualification processes.
