Requirements

  • Lead, Train and mentor lab and quality personnel in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) practices, testing protocols, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Lead the Quality Control Laboratory, overseeing analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods in accordance with industry regulations and internal standards.
  • Oversee compliance with relevant chemical industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA); ensure readiness for internal and external audits, apply advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor, analyze, and improve production processes.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints using root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Oversee Chesterfield Quality Systems, leading team to maintain and improve Quality Manual and System Level Procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead external audits required to meet Food Grade, UL, KOSHER, HALA and other certifications.
  • Responsible for product Certificate of Analysis, maintaining Product Specification database within Lab Management Program and SAP.
  • Partner with the Nylon Commercial Team to facilitate Customer Surveys, Audits, and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Production, R&D, and EHS teams to support quality initiatives and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, control plans, and data reporting systems.
  • Evaluate vendor quality performance and support raw material qualification processes.
