Role OverviewThe Quality Assurance / Purchasing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating the quality assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in products. The role involves conducting end-of-month counts of ingredients and packaging, entering daily intercompany transfers and inbound receipts into AS400, and recognizing inconsistencies. The QA Manager will also work on closing out monthly reports in support of financials and document retention and retrieval for audits.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Quality Assurance / Purchasing Manager include purchasing all ingredients needed for the plant, submitting and finalizing all invoices for the plant, and conducting daily log entry of all production for the plant. The role also involves printing all tickets and route settlements for the plant, reviewing and managing the cleaning and lab supply budgets, and investigating quality issues.

Requirements
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in Quality, inventory and/or shipping and receiving positions
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office
