Role OverviewThe Quality Specialist will be responsible for ensuring raw material and product integrity along with other Quality Assurance activities for the plant. This includes syrup and/or beverage preparation and distribution, microbiology, sanitation, finished product analysis, package integrity testing, and process control by following all current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
What You Will Do
Test finished product as well as specific packaging attributes, perform Micro sample collection and testing, blend syrup and/or finished product (hot fill) from concentrate, internal and external cleaning/sanitation of production machinery and storage areas, and perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
- Ability to execute lab analysis on varying pieces of equipment and instruments
- Ability to work independently as well as, with all functional team members
- Effective interpersonal, quality management, problem solving, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills
- Ability to climb 10 – 12 ft ladder
