Role OverviewThe Quality System Tech (A) provides laboratory and technical assistance to Manufacturing and Quality Systems teams. Conducts laboratory tests of materials and inspects packaged products to determine approval, and reports results.
What You Will Do
Perform sensory, physical, and chemical tests on finished products, evaluate Bill of Material, record test data, and report nonconformance.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Chemistry
- Associates degree and 2 years’ relevant experience in a food processing company
- minimum of 6 months relevant experience in a laboratory or food company with exposure to quality assurance/control/testing
- Ability to taste various food allergens and animal based products
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Ability to communicate with individuals and small groups in English
- Knowledge of MS DAX, Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
