Role OverviewPerform inspections and tests, quality problem investigation and resolution. Support manufacturing in the production of products that meet specifications. Support the Quality Management System and continuous improvement activities.
What You Will Do
Assist and support the manufacturing floor in interpreting quality requirements, utilize quality tools, perform daily product verification, and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have quality experience within a manufacturing environment, working knowledge of ISO9001 and/or IATF 16949 Quality Management System requirements, and ability to perform dimensional inspections and basic statistical analysis.
Requirements
- Quality experience within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 and/or IATF 16949 Quality Management System requirements
- Ability to perform and document dimensional inspections
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements
- Working knowledge of GD&T and its application to product inspection
- Experience using inspection tools, gages, fixtures, and other measurement equipment
- Ability to perform basic capability studies and Gage R&R studies with appropriate guidance
- Ability to identify quality problems, participate in root cause analysis, and support corrective action implementation
- Experience supporting PPAP activities and reviewing associated quality documentation
- Experience supporting ISO9001 Quality Management Systems and internal audit activities
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, forming, and assembly
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate quality data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills, including file organization and use of applicable quality and production software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal personnel and external suppliers
- Ability to work independently while effectively supporting a team environment
- Ability to provide technical guidance and assistance to less-experienced quality and production personnel
