Role Overview

Supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit to strengthen the community, by promoting healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development. Works closely with the Department Director to create and execute campaigns, programs, and/or curriculum for the advancement of the YMCA. Collaborates with other staff to run tennis and pickleball clinics for both adults and youth.

What You Will Do

Provides one-on-one and group tennis and pickleball lessons for participants of various skill levels. Organizes and runs tennis and pickleball events to foster community engagement and generate revenue for the YMCA. Assists with court maintenance and manages rosters for clinic and tournament participants.

Requires a team player with superb interpersonal skills, self-starter ability to multi-task, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment. Must have USPTA, PTR Elite, PPR, or IPTPA certification and 3-5 years of experience in a related field.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • CPR and First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire
  • USPTA, PTR Elite, PPR, or IPTPA certification
  • High School degree or GED or working towards completion of high school
