Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist I to provide radiotherapy treatments as prescribed by physicians to adult and pediatric populations. The successful candidate will work under general supervision and be responsible for operating treatment machines, preparing patients for radiotherapy, and tracking clinical research data. The position requires a graduate degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent, or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field, with relevant experience and licensure.

Requirements

  • Graduate of JCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field
  • 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience with an Associate's Degree
  • No years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree
  • MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECH Licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board
  • AMER REG OF RAD TECH Must have passed the registry exam as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification course accredited by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
