Job Description
Radiation Therapist I position at UT Southwestern Medical Center's Department of Radiation Oncology. Provides radiotherapy treatments as prescribed by physicians to adult and pediatric populations. Works under general supervision of Chief Radiation Therapist.

Requirements

  • Graduate of JCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
  • Associate's Degree in a healthcare field
  • Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field
  • 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience with an Associate's Degree
  • No years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree
  • MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECH Licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board
  • AMER REG OF RAD TECH certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification course accredited by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
