Job Description
This is a Radiation Therapist I position in the Radiation Oncology department at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The successful candidate will work under general supervision to provide radiotherapy treatments to adult and pediatric populations. They will operate various treatment machines, prepare patients for treatment, and track and record clinical research data.

Requirements

  • Graduate of JCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
  • Associate's Degree in a healthcare field or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field
  • 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience with an Associate's Degree
  • No years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree
  • MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECH Licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board
  • AMER REG OF RAD TECH Must have passed the registry exam as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
