Role Overview

The Radiographer - Cardiovascular performs all Cardiac Catheterization Lab related radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures and general radiographic and fluoroscopic diagnostic imaging procedures to generate imaging information necessary for the diagnosis and subsequent interventions of inpatients and outpatients. This role is part of Northwestern Medicine, a leader in the healthcare industry, and is based in Chicago, IL.

What You Will Do

Perform and assist with obtaining hemodynamic data, digital angiograms, and support patient care activities. Evaluate requests for radiographic service, assess patients to determine appropriate procedure protocols, and employ imaging systems to generate images. Care for patients throughout procedures, participate in lifting and transporting patients, and document imaging procedures electronically.
