Role Overview

The Radiographer-Interventional provides imaging services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of inpatients and or outpatients. This role performs radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic interventional by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

What You Will Do

Performs vascular interventional, neuro interventional and spine interventional imaging procedures, evaluates patient requests, prepares patients for procedures, operates imaging equipment, and cares for patients throughout the procedure.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a current Illinois license through IEMA, ARRT registry in radiography, CPR certification, and a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Preferred qualifications include advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, and 1-3 years Interventional Imaging experience.

Requirements

  • Current Illinois license through IEMA
  • ARRT registry in radiography
  • CPR certification (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
