Radiologic Technologist II - Part-time

What You Will Do

Performs radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards. Positions patients and equipment, selecting technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and in a timely manner.

Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff. Ability to communicate effectively, coordinate staff, and work with people of various diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• Knowledge of ER, OR, and Fluoroscopic imaging procedures
• Knowledge of Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors
• Knowledge of Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety
• Ability to communicate effectively, coordinate staff, and work with people of various diverse backgrounds
• Ability to multi-task under stress while dealing with large customer volumes
• Good organizational skills
• Experience/knowledge of computers/networking
• Fluent in the English language and able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrates ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn and use radiology software packages
• Maintain responsibility for all required registries and licenses to perform Diagnostic Imaging
• Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures
• Adult/and child/infant CPR
• Deemed competent to perform in two modalities in Diagnostic Imaging
• Additional languages
