Role OverviewThe Radiologic Technologist is responsible for the radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care, and assisting in the clinical training of radiologic technologist students.
What You Will Do
Performs all required examinations while properly positioning the patient and equipment. Assesses patient condition, and ensures patient safety and comfort. Selects the correct procedure and radiographic technique.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have an associate's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited radiography program. AART certified in Radiography or registry eligible with certification obtained within three months of employment.
