Job Description
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking driven Radiological Control Technicians (RCTs) to support critical programs in nuclear and radiological missions. The position resides within the Radiological Protection Operations Group, part of the Nuclear & Radiological Protection Division.

Requirements

  • AS degree and 7 years of relevant experience in radiological protection or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Currently qualified as a DOE Senior Radiological Control Technician
  • Qualified as an ANSI/ANS 3.1-1987 Senior RCT
  • Active registration with the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT)
  • Broad experience in operational radiation protection at a DOE National Laboratory
