Job Description
Utilizes medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic quality radiographs through the use of ionizing radiation. Responsible for following all departmental Radiation Safety and ALARA policies as well as state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • General x-ray license from the State of Florida
  • ARRT - American Registry of Rad Tech Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in RT (ARRT)
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Graduate of AMA Accredited School of Radiology Technology
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt standard clinical procedures to the individual client's need
