Performs radiologic exams in the operating room to produce quality images and ensures patient and staff safety. Utilizes sterile technique when performing invasive procedures and thoroughly completes all required documentation.

  • Thoroughly completes all required documentation
  • Maintains equipment
  • Surrounds the exposed area with radiation protection devices
  • Uses instruments to produce radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast
  • Keeps records and files
  • Makes reports as needed
  • Maintains lead aprons, shields, dosimetry badges according to State standards
  • Communicates effectively with physicians and staff members
