Job Description
Role Overview

Under the direction of the area supervisor or lead technologist, performs imaging exams/procedures, provides patient care and technical functions to ensure quality radiographic images.

What You Will Do

Performs general radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, prepares room for procedures, verifies exam requests, and ensures patients receive the same level of care as provided on patient’s unit.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and effects of disease processes, evaluates images, and recognizes normal vs. abnormal anatomy.

Requirements

  • Completion of a formal educational Radiologic Technology program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Two years' experience in Radiology as a Radiology Technologist
  • Currently Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Maintains Minimum CEU credits as mandated by the ARRT
  • Possess current CPR certification or obtain within 6 months of employment
