Job Description
At HDR, we're seeking a detail-oriented CAD/BIM designer to serve as a technical role in rail projects. As a Rail Bridge CAD Manager, you'll lead and mentor existing staff, support engineers and project managers, and develop 3D models of freight railroad track/civil projects. Requirements

  • Lead and mentor existing Rail Bridge CAD staff
  • Support Rail Bridge Engineers and Rail Bridge Project Managers with drawing, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs
  • Maintain client specific CAD standards and workspaces
  • Develop basic construction quantities from designs
  • Create 3D models of freight railroad track/civil projects and other BIM tasks to support railroad project development
