Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Railcar Repair Technician to inspect railcars, identify repair needs, and complete approved welding and mechanical work. The position focuses on inspecting railcars, identifying repair needs, and completing approved welding and mechanical work so equipment can safely return to service.
What You Will Do
Examine railcars for damage, deterioration, structural fatigue, and mechanical concerns, complete approved work according to customer requirements and applicable AAR specifications, and record inspection findings and completed repairs accurately.

Requirements

- Stick-welding experience is strongly preferred
- Experience performing welds in the 4G or 5G positions is also highly valued
