Role OverviewWe are seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to perform maintenance, welding, fabrication, and repair work on railroad freight cars. This role supports railroad operations by keeping railcars safe, serviceable, and compliant with applicable industry standards.
What You Will Do
Inspect, maintain, repair, weld, and fabricate railroad freight cars in accordance with safety and quality standards. Participate in job briefings and follow established safety procedures. Work closely with team members to complete repair assignments efficiently and safely.

Requirements
- AWS welding certification
- Knowledge of freight car components and railcar repair practices
- Familiarity with the AAR Field Manual, Blue Flag safety rules, and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) standards
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including CPR, First Aid, E-Rail Safe, and CSX On-Track Safety, as applicable
