The Department of Fire Services (DFS) is recruiting to fill the Rapid Intervention & Survival Skills Instructional Assistant Program Coordinator position, a part-time, contract position with no benefits.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant fire service or emergency service industry experience
  • 5 years of experience as an instructor within a training program
  • Fire Instructor II course completion
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Excellent organizational skills and teamwork
  • Knowledge of the program being coordinated
  • Accredited to teach all courses within the Hazmat program
  • Compliant with OSHA respirator fit test, online training, and medical questionnaire
  • Knowledgeable on DFS LMS Program
  • Completed DFS Virtual Classroom presenter training
