We are looking for an R&D Engineer for Single Use Pharma Devices to join our dynamic R&D Pump team at Alfa Laval. The role involves developing innovative single-use solutions for pharma manufacturing processes and leading the technical journey from concept to portfolio.

Requirements

  • Engineering background with hands-on experience in plastics design
  • Pharma industry experience or strong understanding of pharma requirements (FDA, USP Class VI, ISO 13485)
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical direction in a new product area
  • Familiarity with fluid dynamics, GMP, and single-use materials
  • Knowledge of validation and compliance for pharma products
  • Experience in product development, prototyping, and testing
  • Strong skills in design verification and product validation
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and collaborate across disciplines
