Role OverviewPendar Technologies is seeking a R&D Engineer to support the development, testing, and improvement of advanced optical sensing systems. This role is highly hands-on and spans research, product development, and manufacturing support.
What You Will Do
Support the design, execution, and analysis of engineering experiments, build and evaluate physical prototypes, assist in the development and implementation of environmental and reliability testing methods, collect and analyze performance and reliability data, and investigate product and process failures.

Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field
- 1–3 years of experience (internships or research experience included)
- Strong hands-on skills in mechanical assembly, soldering, PCB prototyping, familiarity with machine shop tools and 3D printing
- Strong communication and documentation skills
