The R&D Engineering Intern role provides a meaningful and rewarding work experience that will provide a foundation for future career successes.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree
  • Commit to a full-time, on-site internship for 10-12 weeks (40 hours per week)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, including mechanical or materials science
  • Demonstrate competence in written and oral communication
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures and cross functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple projects
  • Maintain a calm demeanor in a high energy, constantly changing production environment
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Problem solving and decision-making
  • Collaboration, innovation, motivation, interpersonal effectiveness, and successful completion of work
  • Basic knowledge of technical writing, statistics, data analysis, and/or solid modeling
  • Solid technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Computer skills as required by stated accountabilities
