Role OverviewNova Biomedical is seeking an experienced R&D Program Manager to join our Research & Development team in Waltham, Massachusetts. This role leads and coordinates business-critical R&D projects from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and budgets.
What You Will Do
Manage new product development and sustaining engineering projects across the full product lifecycle from inception through post-launch, establish and manage project schedules, budgets, and priorities across multiple concurrent projects, and partner closely with Product Management to drive business-critical R&D initiatives.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in medical device development with working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineering systems
- Demonstrated experience in program management or as a technical lead engineer in an R&D environment
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with clinical whole blood meters and blood gas analyzers preferred
- Strong proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Confluence
- Experience in budget management, risk assessment, and strategic planning
- Proven ability to support FDA and IVDR regulatory submission activities
