Job Description
The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager (Financial Manager) to direct and oversee the agency's full revenue cycle operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all fiscal activities.

Requirements

  • Payer enrollment
  • Billing and claims processing
  • Denial management
  • Cash application and reconciliation
  • Leading implementation, optimization, and governance of EPIC systems revenue cycle modules
  • Ensuring integration with state ERP systems
  • Developing and maintaining automated reporting tools and dashboards
  • Compliance with Ohio Revised Code, Federal regulations, Medicaid, and Medicare billing rules
  • Establishing and maintaining strong internal controls
  • Preparing materials for audits, fiscal reviews, and federal reporting requirements
  • Conducting advanced financial and operational analyses
  • Providing actionable insights to support executive decision-making
  • Supervising professional fiscal and revenue cycle staff
  • Assigning and reviewing work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and productivity
  • Delivering training in EPIC systems, OAKS FIN, billing regulations, and fiscal procedures
  • Fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and development planning
  • Collaborating with clinical operations, IT, quality, and compliance teams
  • Ensuring accurate coding, documentation, and claims processing
  • Serving as primary fiscal liaison to Cash Management Services, Internal leadership, External auditors, and oversight entities
  • Developing and implementing fiscal policies and workflow documentation
  • Leading process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Creating and monitoring corrective action plans to address audit findings or operational gaps
