Role OverviewThe North Carolina Department of Revenue is recruiting for a Revenue Tax Technician to work in the Examination Division. The position performs a variety of tasks in the Discovery Unit within Central Examination, including educating and assisting taxpayers in tax compliance and reporting procedures.
What You Will Do
The position makes technical determinations based on established procedures, reviews and analyzes data on federal and state individual income tax returns, and enters information into ITAS based on review and departmental rules and regulations.
