Role OverviewThis position is responsible for leading a group of automotive suppliers, providing quality powertrain components in sufficient capacity. The role is within the Global Supplier Management and Material Process Technology department, reporting to the Supplier Management Quality Team Leader.
What You Will Do
Manage supplier performance, resolve technical issues, and lead supplier performance improvement projects to increase supplier capability. Conduct supplier audits, monitor key supplier quality KPIs, and lead effort to establish supplier quality goals.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of GD&T and MSA, and problem-solving skills. Experience with project management, statistical process control, and global suppliers is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related
- 1-3 years of related experience
