Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for all operations, quality and production control, including management of supervisors, crews, scheduling, profitability and budgets of projects. Cultivates a positive safety culture and ensures execution of operational policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and administration or Engineering and engineering trades
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing and delivery in the building materials industry
  • 5 – 7 years supervisory / management experience
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Ability to motivate employees to achieve common goals
  • Strong commitment to safety & environment, quality, customer service and plant cleanliness
  • Financial planning skills: Strong organizational and budgeting skills
  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to resolve employee performance issues and conflicts
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate performance expectations and work assignments to employees and to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
