Role OverviewThe Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for transporting freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will make normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled.
What You Will Do
Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections, deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites, operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, and clean and wash the vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a safe driving record, current Commercial Class A or B driver’s license with airbrakes and tank endorsement, and a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate.
Requirements
- Current Commercial Class A or B driver’s license with airbrakes and tank endorsement
- Safe driving record
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate
- Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions
- Familiarity with slumps
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather
- Physical ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit and shift gears
